Storage Tips:

  1. When stacking furniture items, place pads, blankets, or towels between them to prevent scratching.
  2. It's always a good idea to protect mattresses with mattress bags or cover them with paper or cloth.
  3. Use wardrobe boxes to hang clothes and linens. Don't forget your cedar chips or mothballs!
  4. Remove legs from tables if possible to provide more storage space.
  5. Don't store combustibles like paint thinners or perishables that may attract rodents.

Packing Tips:
Tape Measure

  1. Stock up on all needed packing supplies. ie... boxes, packing tape, scissors, garbage bags, markers, newspapers, bubble wrap.
  2. Pack essentials in an easy to get to place.
  3. Label all boxes.
  4. Don't pack pictures in boxes unless you can stand them up.
  5. Don't overload large boxes with heavy items.
